merry christmas

Well, I've had it with all the stores and catalogs and their dancing around avoiding the words "Merry Christmas". I don't even know if they call a Christmas tree a Christmas tree anymore!
Quite frankly, I'm tired of any minority dictating to the majority. When I was growing up majority rule was the regulation. Today it seems that we have everything tail backwards.
As far as I'm concerned it is Merry Christmas that should be on the cards and in the stores. I think 86% of Americans are Christians so this is a Christian holiday. I'll give you any other holiday you want and say Happy Hanukkah, Happy Ramadan, or even Happy Obama Day.
So if you are politically correct and you want to disagree with me bring it on because, I will just ignore you.

I too, have no problem honoring other holidays. It is so odd that only Christmas is legally restricted. Merry Christmas to all, and may God's blessings be plentiful this coming year!

As a CHRISTIAN - I say Merry CHRISTmas, not Merry Xmas, or Happy Holidays.
But it will be a COLD Day in HELL (or when the Lions win the superbowl 1000000 times in a row) when I say Happy Obama day -- NEVER!!!

... even if you don't say "Happy Obama Day", your grandchildren will. I WILL SEE TO THAT! Obama Day is well on its way to being enshrined as the first and foremost holiday of America. This is in the planning stages now, but come next year, you will see it become reality. And if you refuse to say "Happy Obama Day" like a good, obedient citizen, then you will be fined. And as far as your grandchildren, they will be taught to revere Obama Day, and you can't do anything about it. As future chief secretary of the Dearborn Municipality of the Northcentral Region of the United Socialist States of Northwest Hemisphere, I will make sure that all children, including your own grandchildren, will have a proper education, which shall include celebrating Obama Day. What can you ever do about it from your jail cell?
