Thank you

July 8, 2008

I want to thank all of the people who wished me well after my back surgery. I have been recovering for a month now, but I believe I am finally getting better.

I would like to send a special THANK YOU to the Oakwood hospital staff, Dr. Bustamante, Dr. Harb, Dr. Patel, Dr. Lee, Dr. Dobzyniak, and to all my friends who supported me throughout the recovery.

With special love to my true love Alberta. And of course Mary Jane Dapprich, Tomas Sustek and Kevin Winconek.

I will be raising hell as soon as possible!

Cheers
Russ Gibb

Russ, sorry to read about your back problems. Haven't been keeping up with site due to transcontinental trips to California. Hope it didn't affect your birthday. Keep up your positive attitude. God Speed!

Russ: It's good to have you back. It has been boring without your updates. The retired Fordson teachers met with the new DPS Supt.for breakfast and it was a good exchange. You should invite him for breakfast, he might accept. Enjoy the good weather!

If I know one thing about you, Russ, it's that talking is your niche. I knew that when the content stopped something was wrong. I called your house a couple of times and even contacted Mr. Doelle and I'm glad to finally hear you're okay. I don't know what I'd do if you weren't around to complain about how I'm a know-nothing liberal! I'd probably feel better about being a Democrat, but that's beside the point: I'm glad you're okay, Russ. Keep raising hell!

Russ,

Boy, oh boy, have you been missed! You have another thread running about Artis joining ACCESS, and it is just amazing to see the exchanges there. It just doesn't happen anywhere else. Thanks for coming back to it.

(By the way, I had Jim Petrie for US History at Fordson. He had a way of making the class so enjoyable and pertinent, we didn't realize how much we were learning.)
