it's a tough world.

February 18, 2008

The Democratic Party is heading for a big split. If Obama doesn't win the nomination his liberal supporters and their running dogs in the media will be shouting "see the Democratic Party is racist "
Meanwhile if he is nominated Hillary supporters will cop out of voting feeling that they have been betrayed by the lefty's in their party.
Now,if Obama losses in his bid for the Presidency. The Liberal world wide media will be shouting from the rooftops. "See America is a racist country."
As I said it's not going to be pretty whatever way it goes. Hey,it's a tough world.

Russ , wait until the word gets out about Obama's true racial and ethnic background gets out. It's not as he has fabricated in his "true " life books.

Hey, 'TRUTH',

What, is he - 'gasp!' - Irish?

--by Dearborn Observer on 2/18/08   Lives: Dearborn

The truth is coming.......
Delegates at a US-Islamic forum voiced support on Monday for US presidential hopeful Barack Obama, although some warned against expecting any radical policy change irrespective of who captures the White House.

I just heard on a European web radio station a rumor that operatives thought to be American have been buying up pilfered government document in Kenya. Why would that be ? Recently the Dutch television NOVA had a program about Obama and his racial and ethnic heritage .

--by Al Dent on 2/18/08   Lives: USA

There is one word that sums up Mr.Barack Hussein Obama . Lies.

Russ, The blush is starting to come off of Obama, People and the press are now looking into his background and who he really is. Up until now they have taken him on blind faith and his own hype.

Reguarding the Liberal media rush to sanctify Obama.
Abraham Lincoln said it best; "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time'
Right now it's the Democrats fooling themselfs. As Puck said, "What fools these mortals be "

I will vote for Obama simply because he will bring our troops home from Iraq.

--by simple on 2/20/08   Lives: Detroit area

looks like the republicans are rather worried about obama, if this is the best they can dig up on him... then i think the election might be already won.

Dear Simple:

No doubt, your heart is in a good place. War is bad, so let's just bring our troops home. That will end the war, right?

Well, no, that isn't right. Bringing our troops home suddenly will unleash a horrific killing spree; first against our troops as we pack up our gear, and then one Iraqi group against another in a very bloody civil war.

It is evidently news to many, but neither Barack or Hillary will be able to yank the soldiers out of Iraq very quickly. They are simply telling you what you want to hear. No matter what you think of the reasons for going to Iraq, we are there, and we must finish the job. It is now our duty to pay the price. Anything else would be the worst kind of cowardice.

Don't count on Hillary or Obama bringing troops home right away, When he first ran Richard Nixon said he had a secret plan to end the Viet Nam war. 8 years later our young men were still dying there.

It does not matter what we think of Bush or the war the next president will not be able to say "Oh sorry" and then just leave.

--by Moe on 2/20/08   Lives: Dearborn

We shouldn't have been occupying Iraq to begin with. Let them have their civil war and be done with it.

MOE
Kennedy started Vietnam, Johnson escalated it, and Nixon brought the troops home. Those are the facts. Time must have faded your memory.

--by smedley on 2/20/08   Lives: Dearborn

Troops came home near the end of Nixon's second term. Last of troops came out when Ford was president.

Point is don't count on any of the presidential hopefulls to end this mess on day one or even year one.

Actually, America sent advisors to Vietnam to help the French, in the early 50's. (Remember the last "Mash" show when the radio stated that advisors were being sent to Vietnam, as the "Mash" crew were packing up to leave Korea?)
When the French left, America escalated activity in Nam, and I do remember many saying that if France could not settle the fighting going on over there, then why should America feel that we could? That was before JFK.
