Wow! I guess he decided that the Council Prez job is good enough. On that last post that is soooo funny that someone wrote in that he had been heard "around town" saying "the king is dead!". I mean, did they think anyone would believe that?

Dear Clarify:

Each candidate has different bases of support. Jack's is heavily dependent on Absentee voters. It's tough to get AV's to vote in off-off elections like this one. If he works to get these voters he should win. Tafelski's departure helps Jack immensely.

Write-in Vote is a good idea. After all, there were over 4,000 write-in votes for Doug Thomas and others when Guido was the the only one on the ballot last year. Many are sick of the corruption. Tom Tafelski would have made an honest Mayor. Maureen and Doug too. The good news is we still have an honest Council President named Tom.

Tafelski was and is, an inmature,ego,stooge of would be big man Mossalla. Puppet is the right word for "tom" Tafelski.
He could hardly wait to get his name painted on the council door. Council President Thomas Tafelski... Remember he got there by default...
The other concil members know Tommy baby well and know he would never have made it for mayor.
Tafelski ego is grasping for recognition. "hey look at my title , I'm the council President." " see it's on the door " "I'm important" NOT.

The problem is that Doug is the biggest bum of them all. Check out his attendance record lately. Rather than serve the city as he was elected to do, he has been sunning himself at his Florida residence where his wife now resides full time. His participation in city politics is done via conference call, if that. He does all this on the city pension that he voted to provide for himself.

Beware of the puppet master, Brian Mossallam. He may be the President of the Dearborn Education Foundation, but he's also a big Arab American Political Action Committee guy. Like the AAPAC felon, Nael Abunab, he too uses an alias. On the AAPAC roster and while in East Dearborn he uses the name "Emad". Why is Tafelski letting AAPAC people pull his strings?
